  • SALES ASSOCIATE

 

  • We are hiring a new Sales Associate to join our team.  This person will act as a face of the Studio and Casa Valle Gallery lead by Giancarlo and Jane in New York.  The role will focus on developing genuine client relationships and lead our sales cycle from inquiry through delivery.  The right candidate is ambitious, resourceful, results-driven and enjoys autonomy.   We are a small team, so this person will become an integral member with the opportunity to create a large impact on the studio and to grow professionally.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Report directly to the Director of Sales and Operations 
    - Develop and grow genuine client relationships across interior designers, architects, homeowners and industry professionals
    - Act as a face of the Studio and Casa Valle Gallery
    - Lead client communication through email, in-person gallery tours, presentations and trade events
    - Provide excellent client care from initial inquiry to preparing quotes and invoices, sending samples through order delivery
    - Proactively track inquiries and lead client follow ups via Artlogic, our inventory and CRM platform
    - Communicate internally with our Production Manager to ensure client order needs, updates and deadlines are met
    - Develop a deep understanding of the studio’s own designs and capabilities to share with clients
    - Research sourced vintage pieces, developing a larger understanding of their history and place within the market for our studio and to share with clients
    - Help execute sales materials and keep up to date. For example, add new design information to the website and Artlogic, manage samples and assist photo shoots
    - Maintain Casa Valle’s exceptional space from leading upkeep, contributing to and communicating styling needs internally and helping manage maintenance as needed


Requirements:

  • -3-5 years direct working experience in luxury sales, account management or client services within furniture, interiors or a related design field
    - Work 5 days per week in-person with Casa Valle as the primary location
    - Genuine appreciation and love for design
    - Enjoy talking with new people and helping them find solutions for their needs
    - Extremely personable and confident when interacting with clients 
    - Highly organized with a key attention to detail
    - Highly motivated and self-driven
    - Excel at working both independently and collaboratively on an open, non-hierarchical team
    - Willingness to work on a variety of projects to help the larger team excel and meet goals
    - Passion for working in a fast-paced environment
    - Willingness to work offbeat hours for trade shows, events, shoots, etc


Beneficial Experience:

  • - Familiarity with Quickbooks, Artlogic and Shopify or any website hosting platform
    - Knowledge of Adobe programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

 

Compensation & Benefits: 

  • - Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
    - Company health insurance options
    - 401K with company matching
