Nordic Knots Collection
The studio’s small batch collection of rugs places Nordic folk art into dialogue with Latin American glyphs. Playful forms dancing upon magical colors — saturated saffron and vermillion and peat for shapes that are somewhere between organic and abstract. Notched corners, enigmatic and refined, shift perspective, like László Peri’s shaped canvases found in the Swedish countryside.
